St Annes-On-SeaSt Annes-On-Sea has everything you could ask for from a traditional seaside town. Situation to the north of Lytham it has its own pier, band stand, promenade gardens and even donkey rides during the warmer months. Its nearest neighbour is Blackpool 3 miles away however the 2 seaside resorts could not be more different. St Annes-On-Sea offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Last century it was one of the most successful seaside towns in the North West and is still very popular today amongst families. Like many of the other towns in the North West it has recently undergone a redevelopment which saw Wood Street become the centre for a huge range of restaurants and bars. The pier has remained traditional and allows you to take a step down memory lane as you stroll along. The town is world renowned for its links with golf, as well as the famous Royal Lytham & St.Annes Golf Club, site of several British Open Golf Championships, it also has The Old Links and Fairhaven Golf Club.
