ChorleyFamous for being home of the Chorley Cake, Chorley is a market town in Lancashire. Originally the towns wealth came from cotton & even as recently as the 1970’s you could see numerous chimmenys on its skyline. The town is also famous for its theme park based in Charnock Richard. The theme park is based on the legend of Camelot and was opened in 1984.There are a a number of famous faces that can call Chorley home, including Sir Walker Halworth, Dave Spikey and Kevin Simm from Liberty X. Originally founded as a Rubgy team, Chorley is also home to Chorley F.C, their semi proffesional football known fondly as the magpies due to their black and white kit.
