AnsdellLocated between Lytham and St Annes, Ansdell is a small village situated in Lancashire. Despite its small size it actually hosts the biggest school in the county. Lytham St Annes High Technology College boasts over 2000 students with a integrated A level college and a dedicated IT department. The picturesque village also Fylde Rugby Club which has previously been home to many famous players, including Malcolm Phillips who earned 25 caps whilst playing for England and Bill Beaumont who earned a very impressive 34 caps before his retirement. Andsells most famous resident is arguably Richard Ansdell as massive famous artist painting a number of hunting scenes in oil paints. In fact Ansdell is the only place in the whole of England that has been named after a painter |
